Bethlehem abhaya bhavan

The Bethlehem Abhaya Bhavan Charitable Society was established on January 5th 1998, at Koovappady, Perumbavoor, Ernakulam Dist, Kerala, India. It had humble beginnings with just five residents. We take care of the aged and mentally ill destitute wandering the streets as well as those homeless sick patients. Adequate accommodation, food, medicine and clothes are provided to these neglected section of our society.
Today there are approximately 300 residents and the expenditure is met solely by the donations received from well-wishers. We give shelter to those who wander the streets in abject misery, those who are the victims of domestic conflicts, and those who face ill parenting which forces them out of their homes. We take care of the unfortunate people who are abandoned by their own families due to their mental disability.
